This is often how we treat Easter.
While we may not fill our baskets with chocolate and candy and leave children crying behind our gluttony, we do this spiritually. We turn Easter into a reminder of how much God loves us, and God does, but we fill our own baskets and go home to pig out. We tend towards spiritual gluttony while we forget the others around us.
Easter is not for you. It is not for me.
It is for us, together. Easter is a time for us to be reminded of the we, the body, the church, and the fun that comes from all of us partaking in the resurrection.
How are you sharing Easter? How are you inviting others in? How are you experiencing it with others?
